Sprint Leader Playbook — GPM Method
Sprint Leader Playbook

The Play.
End to End.

What a Sprint Group Leader actually does — from the moment you apply, through approval, recruiting your group, and running the cohort end-to-end. Read it before you apply, after you're approved, and any time you want a reminder of what's worked for others.

What a Sprint Group Leader Does

People, Not Curriculum.

You bring a group of at least 10 (you + 9) to start a Sprint together on a Monday you choose. Everyone in your group is on the same 12-week clock, same habits, same leaderboard, with their own daily check-ins coached by Optimus.

You're not building a course or creating curriculum. The Sprint mechanics, app, AI coach, daily habits, leaderboard, and community space are all built. Your job is people — gathering them, getting them committed, and keeping them engaged through the weeks when life gets loud.

Some leaders pull 10 together in a week off a single community call. Others build their group over a couple of months. Move at the pace that fits your audience.

Application & Approval

What Happens After You Apply.

When you submit the Sprint Group Leader application, here's what happens next:

  1. We review. We look at your group context, your proposed start date, and your commitment to the playbook. Most leaders hear back quickly.
  2. If approved, you'll receive:
    • A welcome email confirming your locked-in Sprint start date
    • Your unique affiliate URL — the only way your group members get the $347 group rate
    • An invite to a private leader Slack channel
    • Immediate access to the GPM Method app on Core 8 (the foundation habit program) so you can experience what your members will experience, and use it to drum up interest
  3. You secure your spot by purchasing through your own affiliate URL at $347.
  4. You start recruiting your group toward your Sprint start date.

If you're reading this before applying — this is what you're signing up to do.

PhaseGoal
1SetupGet approved. Secure your spot. Get oriented in the app on Core 8 while you recruit.
2Generate interestBuild curiosity and capture a soft interest list before you ask for money.
3Open the doorsConvert interest into committed members through public ask + personal outreach.

5Sprint EveSet the tone. Reset expectations. Bring the energy.
6Run the SprintHold the standard through 12 weeks. Show up especially through the mid-Sprint dip.
7GraduateCelebrate your cohort. Set up what's next for them and for your next cohort.
Phase 1

Setup. Once Approved.

Goal

Get yourself oriented, in the app, with your URL in hand — so you can recruit from a place of "I'm doing this with you" rather than "you should try this thing I'm selling."

Suggested Steps

Secure your spot first.

Buy through your own affiliate URL. This is the foundation move:

  • It confirms the system attributes you as a paying member of your own group
  • It puts your members and you on the same financial commitment level
  • It makes every recruitment message authentic — "I'm in, here's my link" is far stronger than "Sign up for my Sprint"
  • Your $347 is non-refundable as part of your leader commitment

You're on Core 8 starting now.

From the moment your purchase is confirmed through your Sprint start date, you have full GPM Method app access on the Core 8 program — daily habit tracking, check-ins, Optimus coaching, GPM Base community. This means you have content, a real story, and immediate value to share while you recruit.

When your Sprint start date arrives, you'll automatically transition from Core 8 to the 10-habit Sprint program with your group.

Walk through every prospect-facing surface yourself.

Hit your check-in. Talk to Optimus. Browse GPM Base. Anything you'd tell someone else about, you've already done. This makes every conversation easier.

Pull up the testimonials library.

We maintain a living page of wins from Sprint members past and present at cdn.gpmmethod.io/transformations. Browse it. Save the ones that resonate with the kind of people in your audience. You'll pull from it constantly during recruitment.

Format — Your Unique URL

Your URL looks like this:

https://gpmmethod.io/sprint?am_id=<your-affiliate-id>

This is the only path for people to join your group at the $347 group rate. Anyone who buys at the public solo rate ($497 at /sprint-checkout) doesn't count toward your group. They're solo Sprinters.

Share your URL freely. Treat it like your business card for the Sprint.

Phase 2

Generate Interest.

Goal

Get the people in your circle curious about what you're doing without asking for money yet. By the time you open the doors, you want an interest list of people who have already raised their hand.

Suggested Steps

Pre-announcement.

Some leaders do a single post; others do a sequence. The shape is: tell people you're leading something, hint at why it matters, and invite "tell me more" replies.

Capture an interest list.

Spreadsheet, Notion, paper — however you track. For each person who raises a hand, note name, best contact method, and their #1 reason for being curious. This list becomes your launch pad when you open the doors.

Show your work.

Between the pre-announcement and the official open, share what you're doing inside the GPM Method app — your check-ins, your habits, what Optimus is coaching you on. This is the work itself becoming the marketing. Don't sell yet — stay in pre-sale mode.

Lean on the testimonials library.

When someone in your audience wants more proof, point them at cdn.gpmmethod.io/transformations. Wins from real members tell the story better than any pitch.

Something I'm doing in [Month]:

I'm leading a 12-week Sprint with a group of people from my circle. Daily habits, real fitness, accountability, and an AI coach that keeps you honest.

12 weeks. 10 habits. One leaderboard.

If you've been thinking about getting your sh*t together this year, comment "interested" or DM me — I'll send the details when we open enrollment.

Phase 3

Open the Doors.

Goal

Convert your interest list into committed group members. The combination that tends to work: clear public ask + individual personal outreach + a real-time conversation opportunity (live call, AMA, or Q&A).

Suggested Steps

The public announcement.

Go live with a clear ask. The post should make the offer crisp: when, what, how much, where to sign up.

Personal outreach.

Within a day of your public post, DM every single person on your interest list individually. Not a broadcast — actual personal messages referencing what they told you they were interested in. This is the move that compounds.

Run a group briefing call.

A 30–45 minute Zoom for anyone considering joining. Walk through what the Sprint is, what they get, why you're leading this group, and a Q&A. Send a recording link to anyone who couldn't make it.

Handle "I need to think about it" gracefully.

A simple reply: "All good. The link's open until [date]. If there's a dealbreaker question I should answer, hit me now and I'll be straight with you." Then follow up once more a few days later.

Phase 4

Close Your Group.

Goal

Lock in your group ahead of your Sprint start date. Most groups need one more focused push at the end — not because anything is broken, but because some people only commit when the deadline is real.

Suggested Steps

The final push.

Drop a clear "closing in [X days]" message in your channels. Make it about the deadline, not about pressure.

The one-on-ones.

Pick a handful of people from your warm-but-hadn't-replied list and reach out individually. Direct, specific, no pressure: "We're closing the group this weekend. You came to mind because [specific reason]. If you're in, this is the moment."

Format — Sample Final Push
[Number of days] from today, my Sprint group locks in. If you've been on the fence, this is your window. After the start date, the next opportunity is the following cohort.

If your group ends up below 10

The Sprint still runs for whoever joined. Same app, same coaching, same community — your members get the full 12-week experience.

The commission piece is separate: the $50 per member kicks in once your group hits at least 10. Below 10, the commission doesn't activate for that cohort, but the Sprint runs and you complete it with your group regardless. Your $347 spot is yours either way.

Phase 5

Sprint Eve.

Goal

Set the tone. The energy you bring the day before launch carries into Week 1, which carries into the next 11.

Suggested Steps

Two things happen on Sprint Eve:

  1. GPM sends Sprint Eve emails to every member of your group automatically.
  2. You send your own leader message in your channels.

Make yours personal. Match the moment — it's a real start of something.

Format — Sample Sprint Eve Message
Tomorrow we start.

If you're seeing this, you're one of the people who said yes when most people scroll past. That decision already separates you.

Tomorrow morning, open the GPM Method app. Log your first check-in. Hit your first habit. Then keep going for 84 days.

I'll be in there with you. Every check-in. Every leaderboard update. Every week.

Day 1. Let's go.
Phase 6

Run the Sprint. 12 Weeks.

The Sprint runs itself through the GPM Method app + GPM Base + Optimus. Your job as leader is to be present — celebrate progress, hold the standard, and stay especially close through the middle weeks.

Week 1 — Pure momentum

Everyone's fresh. Be visible. Celebrate every check-in. Set the tone in the GPM Base group. Post daily for the first 7 days. The pattern you set in Week 1 carries the rest.

Weeks 2–4 — Habits forming

This is when daily check-ins are becoming routine for your members. Your job is to keep the loop visible — recap the week, spotlight wins, comment on people's posts. A Sunday "Week recap" post is a good rhythm:

  • Top 3 leaderboard positions
  • Biggest check-in streak
  • A standout moment from a member (with their permission)

Weeks 5–6 — The Dip

The middle of any 12-week container is where about 60% of dropoffs happen if no leader is paying attention. This is a known pattern, not a flaw — life gets louder around the midpoint of any long commitment.

This is your most important stretch. Suggested moves:

  • Personally DM every member at the start of Week 5: "Hey. Halfway. How are you really? What's the hardest habit right now?"
  • Drop a "halfway honest" message in your community channel. Acknowledge the midpoint reality. Show your own.
  • Optional: run a midpoint Zoom. 30 minutes. Open Q&A. High-impact for the cost.

The members you hold through Weeks 5–6 are the ones who finish.

Weeks 7–9 — Compounding

Members who came through the midpoint start compounding results — PRs, better sleep numbers, real body comp shifts. Lean in. Spotlight transformations. Repost wins. Tag people. This is when your Sprint becomes its own recruitment story for the next cohort.

Weeks 10–12 — Closing strong

The finish line is in sight. Keep the leaderboard hot. Tease what's next for graduates. A Week 10 "Closing Strong" post and an optional final Zoom in Week 12 land well.

Phase 7

Graduation. Week 12.

Goal

Close the cohort meaningfully and set up both your members and yourself for what's next.

Suggested Steps

Post a "Cohort Graduated" message in your community channels.

Tag your members (with permission). Share the aggregate stats from your cohort — total check-ins, total workouts, total habit completions. We'll provide a Leader Stats Pack.

Celebrate THEM.

Make the post about the members, not yourself.

Give graduates a path forward.

We provide three options + messaging for each:

  1. Continue on GPM Method monthly or annual
  2. Run their own Sprint as a leader
  3. Take a break and rejoin a future cohort

Your commission

After your Sprint start date, we count your final group size and process commission. Hit 10+ paying members (including yourself), you receive $50 × (group size) via your selected payout method in GHL Affiliate Manager. Below 10, no commission activates for that cohort — the Sprint runs regardless.

  • Priority support for your members — anything they email about, we move on first.

Commission

  • $50 flat per qualifying sale in your group (minimum 10 paying members including yourself)
  • Paid via GHL Affiliate Manager after your Sprint start date
Commission Mechanics

The Fine Print.

  • $50 flat per qualifying sale, not a percentage
  • Minimum 10 paying members (you + 9) for any commission to activate
  • If your group ends up below 10 by your Sprint start date, commission for that cohort is $0. The Sprint still runs for your members.
  • Commission count locks at your Sprint start date. Anyone who joins after Day 1 doesn't count toward this cohort.
  • Refunds within the 7-day money-back window reduce your commission count.
  • Payout method: configured in your GHL Affiliate Manager profile (PayPal, etc.)

FAQ for Your Prospects

The Questions They'll Ask.

Have the answers ready.

You can miss up to 9 days across the 12 weeks without losing your spot. After 10, you forfeit the leaderboard but the program still runs for you.

No. You'll be assessed at intake and assigned Level 0–3 based on where you are. Level 0 = walking + bodyweight; Level 3 = advanced.

A pair of dumbbells helps. A smart scale and sleep tracker make the data richer (we recommend the Hume Pod and Oura Ring). Sprint runs without them — they're optional.

7-day money-back guarantee from purchase. After that, you're locked in for the 12 weeks.

You can continue on GPM Method monthly or annual, or take a break and rejoin a future Sprint cohort.

Group rate. Everyone in our cohort gets the discount because we're committing together. Solo Sprinters via the public page pay $497. You're in here, so you get the $347 rate.

No. GPM Method is a 12-week habit + fitness coaching program. There's leader compensation ($50/head if you lead a cohort of 10+) which is standard affiliate compensation, same as any group fitness platform.

Final Word

Start the Fire. Stay in the Room When It Gets Cold.

The Sprint works because people commit to something hard alongside other people committing to the same hard thing. As the leader, your job is to start the fire and stay in the room when it gets cold.

There's no script that guarantees a specific outcome. There IS a shape that works, and it's the one in this document.

The infrastructure is built. The play is mapped. What you put into it is what your group gets back.

— The GPM Team
